The 2016 Ice Fishing Contest and Raffle in Park Rapids, Minnesota will be held on the first Saturday of February 2016. There is to be over $110,000 in prizes. This Ice Fishing Derby is one of the largest in the whole midwest. This year’s major prizes include a luxury model Ice Castle 8×16 Itasca from Smokey Hills Outdoor Store. The other major prize valued at over $44,000 is a 2016 Ford F150 XLT 4×4 from Park Rapids Ford.
