Park Rapids Area Fishing Report 4/24/15
With the ice off of all the Park Rapids area lakes and the waters warming quickly.
The Crappie and sunfish spawn is moving quicker than usual.
Crappies- With spawn in full swing the crappies will be biting aggressively. Tie on a white and pink or green and white Flu Flu paired with a crappie
minnow and a slip bobber to pull your limits in!
Sunfish- Like crappies, Sunfish are also in full swing with their spawn as well. Find the
spawning sunfish in she shallower waters on top of their beds in anywhere from 1′-10’feet.
Rig up a Northland™ jig head paired with any Northland™ plastic Impluse or wax worm.
Just a reminder, Northern and walleye season opens Saturday May 9th. A new for 2015 Minnesota law allows for catch and release largemouth & smallmouth bass fishing May 9th- May 22nd.
Good Luck Fishing!
