With the shallows slowly warming up, the chilly spring temps are making the sunfish and crappie fishing a little tricky for some.
Crappies are slowly moving into the shallow water, finding the right spot can produce large numbers and size. Most fisherman look for that 50 degree mark as their special ticket.Crappies- Fish that 1-5 feet of water depending on the water temp, tie on a Flu Flu Tipped with either a crappie minnow or waxy.Sunfish- Swimming around the schools of crappies. Around that 1-5 feet of water looking for a Northland “Fire Fly” paired with either a waxy or plastic! |
